Description
Clindamycin is an antibiotic that works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, targeting Propionibacterium acnes, the bacteria involved in acne development. It reduces the bacterial load and inflammation associated with acne. Tretinoin, a retinoid, promotes cell turnover by increasing the shedding of dead skin cells and preventing the formation of comedones (clogged pores).
