Atcam (8mg) 10 Tablets

This NSAID exhibits its anti-inflammatory and analgesic activity by inhibiting action of prostaglandins and thromboxane synthesis. Both are done through the inhibition of COX-1 and COX-2. Fever, pain and inflammation are reduced through this mechanism

Analgesic, Anti-inflammatory and Anti-rheumatic

Used to treat pain and inflammation in case of:

• Joint disorders like osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis
• Spondylitis

Dose to be taken as per doctor's prescription (dependant on the severity of condition, age and weight)

Contact your doctor if an overdose with this medicine is suspected. Symptoms of an overdose may include nausea, vomiting, dizziness, and disturbance in vision.

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next scheduled dose then the missed dose can be skipped.

Swallow these pills with a glass of water. you may take these after a meal or on an empty stomach. Take these as per your health care provider's instructions.

This is not recommended for use in case of:

• An allergic reaction to NSAIDs or lornoxicam
• fluid retention, edema
• diseases of the heart and vessels
• kidney impairment
• third trimester of pregnancy

• Avoid taking other pain killers along with this
• Geriatrics and children to use this with caution

Lornoxicam may interact with these drugs:

• methotrexate
• tacrolimus
• warfarin
• digoxin
• theophylline
• cimetidine
