Olmesartan medoxomil inhibits the actions of angiotensin II on the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system, which plays a key role in the pathogenesis of hypertension. Amlodipine relaxes the blood vessels and increases the supply of blood and oxygen to the heart while reducing its workload.

Olmesartan is used alone or together with other medicines to treat high blood pressure (hypertension).

Seek emergency medical help if you think you have taken too much of this medicine.

If you miss a dose, make sure to take it as soon as possible the same day. If you don't remember missing the dose, don't double it. Consult your doctor on how to adjust the missing doses.

Swallow with a glass of water with or without food.

Do not use this medication in the following circumstances:

• Concurrent use of ACE inhibitors.
• Previous reaction to olmesartan

• Pregnancy (especially second/third trimester)
• Severe renal impairment.

Side effects may include:

• Feeling dizzy or tired
• Headaches, flu-like symptoms, runny or stuffy nose, cough or bronchitis
• Pain in your back, bones, or joints
• Feeling sick (nausea) or indigestion
• Stomachache
• Diarrhea
• Swollen feet, ankles, legs, or hands (edema)
• Urinary tract infection (UTI)
