Levobunolol is meant to reduce intra ocular pressure by reducing the production of aqueous humor via blockage of endogenous catecholamine-stimulated increases in Camp concentrations.

Overdosing may cause shortness of breath, low heart rate and light headedness. Consult a doctor in case of overdose

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next scheduled dose then the missed dose can be skipped.

Pull the lower eyelid away from skin to make space using clean hands and drop the medicine into the space. Let go of the eye gently and do not blink.

Contraindicated in case of:

• bradycardia
• cardiac failure
• COPD or asthma

Common side effects include:

• eye pain
• headache
• tearing
• skin redness

Your healthcare provider needs to know immediately if:

• you feel chest pain or discomfort after use
• dilated neck veins
• allergic reaction to it
• you become less alert than you are normally
• you have breathing problems

Drugs that can interact include:

• phenothiazine
• epinephrine
• calcium channel blockers
• clonidine
• digoxin
