Gentamicin works by killing bacteria or preventing their growth. Betamethasone is an adrenocortical steroid that controls the rate of protein synthesis, depresses the migration of leukocytes or fibroblasts, reduces capillary permeability, and prevents or controls inflammation

• eczema
• dermaitis
• skin damage or lesions
• red sores (impetigo)
• psoriasis

An overdose does not cause life-threatening conditions. Although long term use of high dose can cause skin thinning, changes in body fat, increased acne or facial hair, menstrual problems, and impotence. Consult a medical profesional in case of overdose.

Try not to miss a dose. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you can. Then continue your normal schedule. If it is almost time for your next dose, take only that dose. Do not take double or extra doses.

Apply as a thin layer on skin as per doctor's instructions. Avoid application on genital areas, or in skin creases.

Consult a doctor in case of any other medicines that you are taking or any diseases that you may have or in case of pregnancy

• fast, slow or irregular heartbeats
• allergic reactions such as hives
• changes in vision
• confusion, excitement, restlessness
• eye pain
• hallucinations
• muscle weakness
• thinning skin or stretch marks
• swollen glands
• weight gain

Cautions include:

Do not take with the following:

• live virus vaccines
• amphoterecin B
• aspririn
• erythromycin or clarithromycin or special macrolide
• potassium depleting agents
• metoprolol
• fungal medications
• warfarin
