  • Description

    Bambuterol is a long acting beta2-adrenoceptor agonist used in the treatment of asthma. It is a prodrug of terbutaline. Bambuterol causes smooth muscle relaxation, resulting in dilation of bronchial passages.

    Bambuterol is utilized for the following therapeutic indications:

    • Management of asthma
    • Relief of bronchospasm
    • Treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
    • Long-acting bronchodilator for improved lung function
    • Prevention of exercise-induced bronchospasm
    • Reduction of airway resistance
    • Improvement of overall respiratory function
    • Minimization of nighttime asthma symptoms
    • Support for patients with chronic respiratory conditions
    • Adjunct therapy in combination with other asthma medications

  • Dosage

    To be taken as per doctor's prescription

  • In case of Overdose

    Monitor patients for adverse reactions and consult a doctor immediately

  • Missed Dose

    Try not to miss a dose. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you can. Then continue your normal schedule. If it is almost time for your next dose, take only that dose. Do not take double or extra doses.

    Do not use in pregnancy or people with severe liver impairment
