  • Description

Carbocisteine and Promethazine Hydrochloride work synergistically in the syrup/suspension form. Carbocisteine, a mucolytic agent, reduces the viscosity of mucus by breaking down disulfide bonds in mucin, thereby improving its clearance from the respiratory tract. Promethazine Hydrochloride, an antihistamine, blocks histamine receptors, which reduces the production of mucus and suppresses the cough reflex. Together, they help to thin and loosen mucus, making it easier to expel, and provide relief from cough and congestion.
