It binds to one of the penicillin binding proteins which inhibits the final transpeptidation step of the peptidoglycan synthesis in the bacterial cell wall, thus inhibiting biosynthesis and arresting cell wall assembly leading to bacterial death

• PID and endometriosis
• Skin and skin structures
• Female genitalia
• Urinary tract
• Otitis media
• Gonorrhea
• Tonsilitis

To be administered as per instruction of a healthcare practitioner

Overdose symptoms may include blood in urine, diarrhea, nausea, upper abdominal pain and vomiting. It may also cause encephalopathy and EEG changes. Seek medical help in case of overdose

Try not to miss a dose. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you can. Then continue your normal schedule. If it is almost time for your next dose, take only that dose. Do not take double or extra doses.

Measure dose using a measuring cup

Do not use this medication if you are:

• allergic to any of its constituents
• allergic to penicillins or cephalosporins

Common side effects include:

• Black, tarry stools
• Chills, fever or cough
• Dark urine along with painful urination
• Stomach issues
• bleeding gums

Make sure to consult a doctor in case you already have:

• Malabsorption problems
• Alcohol abuse
• Allergy to Beta-lactamase inhibitors
• Kidney, liver, bowel or blood diseases.

• Severe anaphylactic or allergic reaction
• If symptoms do not improve
• Severe diarrhea
• Skin reactions

Do not use this medication if you are on:

• Blood thinners such as heparin
• Furosemide
• Aminoglycosides
• Methotrexate
• Tetracyclines
• sulfasalazines
• probenacid
• estradiol

Do not stop medication if you feel better. Complete the course for proper treatment effects. But it is better not to use for very prolonged periods of time
