    Celecoxib selectively inhibits cyclooxygenase 2 which is responsible for prostaglandin synthesis which causes pain and inflammation

  • Uses

    Celecoxib is utilized for the following therapeutic indications:

    • Management of osteoarthritis
    • Relief of acute pain
    • Treatment of rheumatoid arthritis
    • Treatment of juvenile idiopathic arthritis
    • Management of dysmenorrhea (painful menstruation)

  • Dosage

    To be used as per doctor's prescription

  • How To Use

    Take as per prescribed by your doctor. Do not use in larger or smaller amounts. Take with food if it upsets your stomach.

  • When Not to Use

    You should not use this medicine if:

    • You have a bleeding disorder (hemophilia)
    • a recent history of intestinal or stomach bleeding
    • you have an allergy to NSAIDs
    • you are a teenager with fever, flu, cold, or chickenpox
    • extreme liver or kidney impairment
    • later stages of pregnancy
