  • Description

    This medicine is used to treat problems associated with female infertility. It contains Clomiphene, an ovulatory stimulant, which triggers the brain's pituitary gland to secrete an increased amount of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and LH (luteinizing hormone). This action stimulates the growth of the ovarian follicle and thus initiates ovulation.

    This medicine is used to treat female infertility associated with:

    • Oligomenorrhoea (menstrual cycle greater than 35 days)
    • Secondary amenorrhoea (absence of menstrual cycles) due to polycystic ovarian disease
    • Fibrocystic breasts
    • Persistent breast milk production

    This medicine is mostly taken orally. The dosage is dependent on the age, and condition and its severity. Please consult your doctor before use. This medicine is not recommended for children.

    Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water without chewing. Take the medication daily as recommended by the doctor.

    Do not use this medication if you have:

    • Liver dysfunction
    • Large ovarian cyst
    • Endometrial carcinoma (cancer in the lining of the endometrium)
    • Uterine bleeding (bleeding from the uterus)
    • Uncontrolled thyroid dysfunction
