Perindopril is known to block conversion of angiotensin 1 to the potent vasoconstrictor angiotensin 2. It simultaneously inactivates the vasodilator peptide bradykinin. It also has various immunomodulatory functions as well. Amlodipine relaxes the blood vessels and increases the supply of blood and oxygen to the heart while reducing its workload.

• high blood pressure
• heart failure
• reduces risk of stroke and heart attacks
• angina

Overdosing symptoms may present as trouble breathing or passing out. Seek immediate help in case of overdose

If you miss a dose, make sure to take it as soon as possible the same day. If you don't remember missing the dose, don't double it. Consult your doctor on how to adjust the missing doses.

Take this at the same time each day. Swallow these with a glass of water

Do not take in case of:

• pregnancy
• allergy to one or both salts

Common side effects include:

• swelling in feet and hands
• spinning sensation
• symptoms of cold and flu

• high blood potassium leading to arrhythmia
• liver and heart problems

Your healthcare provider needs to know if you have any of these conditions:

• liver or kidney disease
• a heart attack
• angioedema due to another BP medicine
• vomiting or a lot of diarrhea

Drugs that can interact with Amlodipine and Perindopril include:

• cyclosporine
• sildenafil
• rifampin
• ritonavir
• diuretics
• herbal formulations
• NSAIDs
