    • Threatened Miscarriage

Cyclogest may be prescribed in cases of threatened miscarriage where there is a concern about inadequate progesterone levels.

  • How To Use

Please follow these steps to use the Cyclogest Pessary:

    • Before handling the pessary, wash your hands thoroughly to minimize the risk of infection.
    • Many women find it easier to insert the pessary while lying down, either on their back with knees bent or in a side-lying position with one leg drawn up.
    • Each pessary is individually wrapped. Carefully remove it from the packaging, being cautious not to damage the pessary.
    • Gently insert the pessary into the vagina as far as is comfortable. It is designed to dissolve and release the medication slowly over time. You may use a clean applicator if one is provided, or you can insert it with a clean finger.
    • After inserting the pessary, wash your hands again to ensure cleanliness.
    • Some healthcare providers recommend lying down for a short period after inserting the pessary to allow it to stay in place and start to dissolve.
    • Use the medication exactly as prescribed by your doctor. The dosage and frequency will depend on the specific reason for using Cyclogest.
    • Continue using Cyclogest for the full duration prescribed by your doctor even if you start to feel better. Abruptly stopping the medication may not provide the intended benefits.
