  • Description

Duloxetine, at a dose of 30mg, is a serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI). It works by inhibiting the reuptake of two neurotransmitters, serotonin and norepinephrine, in the brain. This increases the levels of these neurotransmitters in the synaptic cleft, enhancing their action on postsynaptic receptors. The elevated levels of serotonin and norepinephrine contribute to the regulation of mood, pain, and other physiological processes. This mechanism is believed to help in the treatment of conditions such as depression, anxiety, and chronic pain disorders.
