This medication is used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections. It contains Cefoperazone+Sulbactam which is a cephalosporin antibiotic, which has a broad spectrum of action to attack the bacteria causing infection and destroy it.

Cefoperazone, Sulbactam combination is utilized for the following therapeutic indications:

• Treatment of complicated skin and soft tissue infections
• Management of intra-abdominal infections
• Treatment of pneumonia
• Management of urinary tract infections
• Empirical therapy for infections caused by resistant bacteria

Follow these dosage instructions:

• Take as per doctor's Prescription.
• The injection is administered in the muscle or vein. Take one injection every day or as per doctor's recommendation.
• Your doctor will determine the treatment length based on your symptom severity.

If you think you have used too much of this medicine, talk to your doctor. Seek medical emergency help immediately.

If you miss a dose, make sure to take it as soon as possible the same day. If you don't remember missing the dose, don't double it. Consult your doctor on how to adjust the missing doses.

A nurse or medical practitioner usually administers the injection either intramuscularly or intravenously. You should receive every dose that is prescribed even after you feel better. It's necessary to follow the protocol to clear the infection completely. Take this medication after meals.

You should not take this medication if you have hypersensitivity or known allergies to penicillin.

This medicine may cause:

• Skin rash
• Diarrhea
• Decreased neutrophils (White blood cells)
• Decreased hemoglobin,
• Eosinophilia (increased eosinophils), or increased transaminases (liver enzymes)

You should practice these cautions before taking the medicine:

• Talk to your doctor if you are pregnant or lactating, and there’s no safer alternative available.
• Talk to your doctor if you have hypersensitivity or allergic reactions to any of the components in the medicine.
• Talk to your doctor if you have a liver or kidney disease.
