Clotrimazole is an antifungal agent that exerts its action by damaging the permeability barrier in the fungal cytoplasmic membranes. Dexamethasone is a potent glucocoticoid that decreases lymphocyte colony proliferation and suppresses migration of neutrophils. It inhibits pro-inflammatory signals.

It is used in the:

• management of eczema
• management of superinfected eczemas
• dermatitis
• fungal skin infections
• fungal infections of the vulva or vagina

To be applied once daily as a thin layer on affected area or as prescribed by doctor

Skin redness, scaling or irritation and skin thinning can occur due to excess application. Nausea and vomiting may occur. Consult a doctor in case of overdose.

Do not apply extra to make up for mixed dose

Apply a thin layer once daily after washing your hands and area of application. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth and other mucous membranes

Not to use in case of damaged or burned skin or in case of allergic reaction to any constituent

Side effects include:

• skin blisters, dryness or redness
• pain on affected area
• itching or rash
• swelling on face
• thinning of skin

Tell your doctor in case of:

• blisters of vagina or vulva
• chills, fever or diarrhea
• foul smelling discharge
• sores or ulcers of vagina or vulva

Consult a doctor in case you are using:

• NSAIDs
• warfarin
• cholecalciferol
• antibiotics
• contraceptives
