    This medicine is used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease. It contains Dexlansoprazole which works by suppressing gastric acid secretion at the secretory surface of the gastric parietal cells. This ingredient is a proton pump inhibitor that blocks the final step of acid production.

    This medicine is used to treat Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease and related discomforts such as:

    • Heartburn associated with non-erosive GERD (4 weeks treatment)
    • All grades of erosive oesophagitis (8 weeks)
  • Dosage

    Follow these dosage instructions:

    • Take as per doctor's Prescription.
    • Take one tablet per day as your doctor suggests.
    • Your doctor will determine the treatment length based on your symptom severity.
  • In case of Overdose

    If you think you have used too much of this medicine, talk to your doctor. Seek medical emergency help immediately.

  • Missed Dose

    If you miss a dose, make sure to take it as soon as possible the same day. If you don't remember missing the dose, don't double it. Consult your doctor on how to adjust the missing doses.

  • How To Use

    Take one capsule per day, with or without food as your doctor has recommended. Take the medication regularly and at the same time each day to get the most benefit from it.

  • When Not to Use

    This medication is not recommended for patients with:

    • Known hypersensitivity to dexlansoprazole or to any excipient of the product
    • Severe hepatic impairment
    • Patients having inadequate B12

    • Nausea, vomiting
    • Rash, hives, itching
    • Difficulty in breathing, or swallowing
    • Irregular, fast, or pounding heartbeat
    • Excessive tiredness, dizziness, lightheadedness
    • Muscle spasms, uncontrollable shaking of a part of the body, seizures
    • Severe diarrhea with watery stools, stomach pain, and fever

    You should practice these cautions before taking the medicine:

    • CYP2C19 or CYP3A4 Inducers (St. John’s Wort, rifampin)
    • CYP2C19 or CYP3A4 Inhibitors (Voriconazole)

    Store the medicine at room temperature and keep out of direct sunlight, excessive heat, and moisture. Keep the medicine out of the reach of children and animals. Do not use the medication past its expiration date.
