  • Description

    This medication is used primarily to treat acne. It contains Cyproterone Acetate + Ethinyl Estradiol, which is antigonadotropin. It blocks the effect of endogenously produced and exogenously administered androgens at the target organs and balances the female reproductive hormones.

    This medicine is used to treat the signs of male physical characteristics caused by the male sex hormone, androgen, produced in women in small amounts. This medication treats:

    • Severe acne (when other treatments are unsuccessful)
    • Excessive growth of facial and body hair
  • Dosage

    Follow these dosage instructions:

    • Take as per doctor's Prescription.
    • Take one tablet per day as your doctor suggests.
    • Your doctor will determine the treatment length based on your symptom severity.

    You should not use this medication, if:

    • You are using another hormonal contraceptive
    • You have a history of venous thrombosis (deep venous thrombosis, pulmonary embolism)
    • You have a history of Arterial thrombosis (e.g. myocardial infarction) or prodromal conditions (e.g. angina pectoris and transient ischaemic attack).
    • You have a history of cerebrovascular accident

    Common side effects may include:

    • Stomachache, weight gain
    • Headaches, migraines
    • Depressed mood/Mood swings
    • Sore or painful breasts
    • Fluid retention
    • Decreased libido (loss of interest in sex)
    • Skin rash, which may be itchy
