Digestine (40mg) 30 Capsules

This medicine is used to treat stomach discomfort. It contains Metoclopramide Resinate that works by blocking the action of a chemical in the brain, dopamine, and speeding up the emptying of the stomach and the upper intestines.

Prokinetic Agents

This medicine is used to treat:

• Dyspepsia (indigestion)
• Flatulence
• Heartburn
• Peptic Ulcer Gastritis (inflammation of the stomach and intestine)
• Duodenitis
• Nausea, vomiting

Follow these dosage instructions:

• Take as per doctor's Prescription.
• Take one capsule per day as your doctor suggests.
• Your doctor will determine the treatment length based on your symptom severity.

If you think you have used too much of this medicine, talk to your doctor. Seek medical emergency help immediately.

If you miss a dose, make sure to take it as soon as possible the same day. If you don't remember missing the dose, don't double it. Consult your doctor on how to adjust the missing doses.

Take one capsule per day, with or without food as your doctor has recommended. Take the medication regularly and at the same time each day to get the most benefit from it.

Do not take Metoclopramide if you have an allergy to:

• Any medicine containing Metoclopramide
• Any of the ingredients in the list.
• Do not give this medication to children and infants.

This medication may pose these side effects:

• Drowsiness, tiredness
• restlessness
• dizziness, headache
• bowel irregularities
• insomnia
• anxiety
• agitation, uncontrolled or repeated movements
• fast heartbeat
• depression
• swelling of hands, ankles, or feet

It would be best if you practiced these cautions before taking the medicine:

• Talk to your doctor if you are pregnant or lactating, and there’s no safer alternative available.
• Talk to your doctor if you have kidney or liver disease, Parkinson's disease, or heart abnormalities.

This medication may interact with these drugs:

• Tranquilizers or anti-anxiety medications
• Strong pain relievers (codeine or morphine)
• Sedatives or sleeping medication
• Atropine-like medications (some cold preparations, travel sickness medicines)
• Tetracycline antibiotics
• Paracetamol
• Digoxin

Store the medicine at room temperature and keep out of direct sunlight, excessive heat, and moisture. Keep the medicine out of the reach of children and animals. Do not use the medication past its expiration date.
