  • Description

    Miconazole nitrate is an anti-fungal medication that comes in the form of a cream, gel, or powder and is used to treat skin infections caused by yeasts and other types of fungi. It is commonly used to treat athletes foot, jock itch, ringworm, yeast infections, and fungal infections of the fingernails and toenails. It works by interfering with the formation of the fungal cell membrane and inhibiting the growth and spread of fungi. Hydrocortisone is a steroid that reduces inflammation.

    This medicine is used to treat:

    • hemorrhoids (pain, swelling, bleeding, itchiness)
    • Eczema
    • Dermatitis
    • Infected Surgical Wounds
    • Skin abnormalities (eczema around anus)
  • Dosage

    Follow these dosage instructions:

    • Take as per doctor's Prescription.
    • Apply the cream to the affected area topically, once or twice daily as recommended by the doctor.
    • Your doctor will determine the duration of treatment based on the symptom severity.

    If you think you have used too much of this medicine, talk to your doctor.

  • Missed Dose

    Wash your hands before using the cream, gel, or ointment. Apply the cream topically on the affected area once or twice a day for at least 1-2 weeks.

    You should not use this medicine if you have:

    • If you ever had an allergic reaction to Hydrocortisone, any other ingredient in the medicine, or any other medicine.
    • If you have tuberculosis skin infection or herpes simplex.
