Dr. koff lozenges dosage recommendations:

• Suck on 1 lozenge every 2 to 3 hours as needed, but do not exceed 6 lozenges per day.

Seek medical advice if you consume an excessive number of lozenges. Symptoms may include gastrointestinal discomfort or allergic reactions.

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. Do not double up on doses.

Dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth for upto 2 to 3 hours.

Patients should be aware of these precautions and warnings when using Dr-Koff orally disintegrating strips:

• Take Dr-Koff orally disintegrating strips by mouth with or without food. If stomach upset occurs, take with food to reduce irritation.
• Do not remove the strip from the pouch until ready to use, and ensure hands are dry before handling the strip.
• Place the strip on the tongue, where it dissolves quickly and can be swallowed with saliva. It may be taken with or without water.
• Use the strip immediately after opening the pouch and do not store it for future use.
• If a dose is missed and you are taking it regularly, take it as soon as possible. If it’s almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and return to the regular schedule. Do not take two doses at once.
• This medication is used for temporary relief of non-phlegm-producing coughs caused by infections like sinusitis or the common cold. It contains Dextromethorphan, a cough suppressant that reduces the urge to cough.
• Do not use this product for ongoing coughs from smoking or long-term breathing problems unless directed by a doctor.
• Cough-and-cold products have not been proven safe or effective for children under six years. Do not use it in children under six unless directed by a doctor.
• These products do not cure or shorten the duration of the common cold and may cause serious side effects if not used properly. Always follow dosage instructions carefully.
• Do not use this product to make a child sleepy, and avoid giving other medications that may contain similar ingredients.
