Uses
It contains Benzydamine 0.15% & Chlorhexidine 0.2% in it. Benzydamine is locally acting NSAID (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug) while chlorhexidine is a disinfectant & antiseptic. It is indicated for oral hygiene in which it is used in treating stomatitis (inflammation of lips & mouth), gingivitis (inflammation of gingiva), apthous ulcers (small and shallow lesions that develop on the soft tissues in your mouth) & denture ulcers (lesions caused by an ill-fitting denture) It helps in plaque removal, inflammation relief, & in prevention against infections. The active ingredient benzydamine is contraindicated in children less than age 6 With long term use of chlorhexidine, reversible teeth staining may occur Don’t use benzydamine for than 4 times in a day Use chlorhexidine twice in a day in adults and children & do not swallow it
