    Human Menopausal Gonadotrophin. Menotrophin (hMG) contains FSH and LH and is used to stimulate ovarian follicle development and ovulation in women, as well as spermatogenesis in men.

    This medication is used to treat certain fertility problems in women. It provides follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) that help stimulate healthy ovaries to make eggs.
  • Dosage

    Folinis dosage for the indication of fertility treatment, duration as advised by a healthcare provider:

    • Adults - 75 IU intramuscularly as directed.
    • Children - Not recommended.
  • In case of Overdose

    Overdose of Menotrophin may cause ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS), characterized by enlarged ovaries, abdominal pain, and fluid accumulation. Seek immediate medical attention for proper management and treatment of symptoms.

  • Missed Dose

    If you miss a dose, consume as soon as you remember. If it is close to the next feeding, skip the missed dose. Do not double up on doses.

  • How To Use

    Administered via injection according to the healthcare provider's instructions. Follow the prescribed dosage and schedule.

  • When Not to Use

    Menotrophin should not be used if:

    • Hypersensitivity
    • Ovarian cysts
    • Hormone-sensitive cancers

    Tell your doctor/Pharmacist your medical history of, Primary ovarian failure, Abnormal uterine/Vaginal bleeding, Thyroid or Adrenal gland problems, Cancer of the reproductive organs (breast, uterus, ovary), Pituitary tumor, Ovarian cysts or enlarged ovaries (not due to polycystic ovary syndrome), Ovarian torsion, Personal/family history of blood clots, Thrombophilia, Obesity, Stroke, Heart attack, Asthma.
