It acts as an antiepileptic and anxiolytic agent. It exerts its effects by enhancing the activity of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), an inhibitory neurotransmitter in the brain, resulting in a calming effect on the central nervous system.

In case of overdose, seek immediate medical attention. Overdose symptoms may include extreme drowsiness, confusion, muscle weakness, and fainting.

If a dose is missed, take it as soon as remembered. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume the regular dosing schedule.

Do not use in case of:

• Do not use clobazam in patients with a known hypersensitivity to benzodiazepines.
• Avoid use in patients with acute narrow-angle glaucoma.
