Wash the affected area with a mild cleanser and dry them before applying this drug. Extend the application of the cream to approximately 1/2 inch of normal-appearing skin (surrounding each lesion), and then rub the cream lightly and uniformly into the skin. Discontinue treatment once control is achieved.
This cream should not be used on eczematous skin, cuts, and abrasions. Avoid use around eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes.
