Heparin Sodium is utilized for the following therapeutic indications:
- Preventing blood clots in patients at risk
- Treating and preventing thromboembolic disorders
- Used cautiously in patients with renal insufficiency and a history of gastrointestinal disease

Dosage
To prevent clots from forming, the usual dosage is a deep injection under the skin 2 hours before surgery and every 8 - 12 hours for up to a week after surgery.

How To Use
