Hydryllin DM (5/6.25mg) 120ml Syrup

Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant. Diphenhydramine is an antihistamine. Phenylephrine is a decongestant.

Antihistamine + Decongestant

This medication is used in patients to treat dry cough.

Follow these dosage instructions:

• Adult Dosage

For adults (above 18), 1-2 teaspoons of Hydryllin DM 120ml 2-3 times a day or prescribed by the doctor.

• Child Dosage

For children (below 17), 1 teaspoon of Hydryllin DM 120ml 2 times a day.

Symptoms of overdose may include:

If you miss a dose, make sure to take it as soon as possible the same day. If you don't remember missing the dose, don't double it. Consult your doctor on how to adjust the missing doses.

Take this medication by mouth with or without food, as directed by your doctor, usually every 4 hours. If you are self-treating, follow all directions on the product package.

This medication is contraindicated in patients with emphysema and any other disease with long term symptoms of cough.

• Drowsiness
• Dizziness
• Nausea
• Vomiting

Follow these precautions:

• Pregnant females should consult their doctors before taking this medication.
• Lactating females should consult their doctors before taking this medication.
• Patients with breathing problems must be cautious, and avoid doing work that requires alertness such as driving immediately after taking this medicine as it may cause drowsiness.
• Heart patients and patients with hepatic (liver) and renal (kidney) impairment should be cautious.
