In case of an overdose, contact a doctor immediately.

Try not to miss a dose. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you can. Then continue your normal schedule. If it is almost time for your next dose, take only that dose. Do not take double or extra doses.

You can take folic acid with or without food. Swallow the tablets whole with a drink of water.

Do not take in case you have an allergy to the constituent, low vitamin b12 levels or pernicious enemia

Common side effects include:

• nausea
• cofusion
• irritability
• vomiting
• loss of appetite

Taking too much folic acid for a long tikme can cause side effects

Ths may interact with:

• Fosphenytoin
• Phenobarbital
• Phenytoin
• Primidone
