Influenza Vaccine is utilized for the following therapeutic indications:

Dosage
Follow these dosage instructions:
- Adults and children over the age of 36 months

Missed Dose
If you miss a dose, make sure to take it as soon as possible the same day. If you don't remember missing the dose, don't double it. Consult your doctor on how to adjust the missing doses.

How To Use
The doctor or nurse will administer Influvac as an injection. If you have any concerns about how to give this vaccine, talk to your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist. The injection may go into the upper arm muscle. If someone has bleeding problems, the injection may need to be given under the skin (subcutaneously). Remember, Influvac should never be administered intravenously.

When Not to Use
This vaccine should be avoided in the case of allergy to proteins (eggs, poultry) and acute febrile illness (rapid onset of fever with other symptoms like weakness, chills, and muscle pain due to an unknown cause).

Tell your doctor as soon as possible if you notice any of the following:
- Redness, swelling, a hard lump, soreness, bruising, or itching around the injection site
- Fever, chills, headache, malaise (generally unwell)
- Muscle aches and pains
