Enema Liquid is utilized for the following therapeutic indications:

• Treatment of constipation, providing relief through bowel evacuation.
• Preparation for diagnostic procedures such as colonoscopy or surgery.
• Administration of medications for local effects in the lower gastrointestinal tract.

Take as per your doctor's recommendations. One bottle containing 135ml of the medicine is to be used once daily.

Seek emergency medical help if you think you have taken too much of this medicine.

If you miss a dose, make sure to take it as soon as possible the same day. If you don't remember missing the dose, don't double it. Consult your doctor on how to adjust the missing doses.

This medicine is for self-use and rectal use only. Wash your hands before handling this product and if possible use disposable gloves. Lie on your left side with both knees bent and your arms at rest in front of you. Remove the protective shield. Pull the shield gently while holding the bottle upright and grasping the grooved bottle cap with your fingers. With steady pressure, gently insert the enema Comfortip into the rectum with the tip pointing towards your navel. Squeeze the bottle until nearly all the liquid has been emptied. Discontinue use if any resistance is encountered. Forcing an enema can result in injury. The bottle contains more than the amount of liquid needed for effective use, so a small residue will remain. Gently remove the nozzle from your rectum. Remain in the same position until the urge to evacuate your bowels is strong - usually within 2 to 5 minutes. Return the used enema to the carton for disposal and wash your hands.

You should not use an enema if you have:

• Colorectal cancer
• An enlarged distended colon prone to perforation
• Active inflammatory bowel disease

You may experience:

• Abdominal Discomfort

You should practice these cautions before taking the medicine:

• Talk to your doctor if you are pregnant or lactating, and there’s no safer alternative available.
• Talk to your doctor if you have hypersensitivity or allergic reactions to any of the components in the medicine.
• Talk to your doctor if you have liver or kidney disease.
• Do not drive after using this medication as it can affect your ability to drive.

Enema may interact with drugs like:

• ACE inhibitors such as lisinopril
• ARBs such as valsartan
• Diuretics/"water pills" such as furosemide/hydrochlorothiazide
• NSAIDs such as ibuprofen/naproxen

Store the medicine at room temperature and keep out of direct sunlight, excessive heat, and moisture. Keep the medicine out of the reach of children and animals. Do not use the medication past its expiration date.
