Metodine DF (400/500mg) 15 Tablets

This medicine is used to treat bacterial infections. It contains Diloxanide Furoate+Metronidazole, which acts as an anti-protozoal drug. It works by blocking the activity of entamoeba histolytica; inhibiting energy production and killing the bacteria and parasites.

This medicine is used to treat bacterial infections, such as:

• Acute amoebiasis
• Chronic amoebiasis
• Hepatic amoebiasis
• Other systemic diseases due to E. histolytica
• Giardiasis

Seek medical help immediately if you think you have overdosed on this medicaton.

If you miss a dose, make sure to take it as soon as possible the same day. If you don't remember missing the dose, don't double it. Consult your doctor on how to adjust the missing doses.

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water without chewing after a meal. Take twice or thrice daily as recommended by doctor.

Do not use this medication if you have:

• Tingling or pain of hands or feet
