Mirabegron is a potent and selective β3-adrenoceptor agonist. It causes increased cyclic adenosine monophosphate concentrations in the bladder tissue and shows a bladder relaxant effect.

It is used alone or in combination to treat the symptoms of:

• overactive bladder
• neurogenic detrusor overactivity

Overdose may cause unusual dizziness, dry mouth, severe headaches, seizures, fast heartbeats and severe nausea. Seek immediate help in case of overdose

If you miss a dose, make sure to take it as soon as possible the same day. If you don't remember missing the dose, don't double it. Consult your doctor on how to adjust the missing doses.

Do not use in case of:

• allergy to drug itself
• severe kidney or liver impairment

Common side effects include:

• dizziness and fast heart rate
• constipation
• nausea

Check with your doctor right away:

• if you have difficulty in passing urine or painful urination
• if you have decrease in urine volume and frequency

Consult a doctor in case you are taking:

• metformin
• oral contraceptives
• tamsulosin
• rifampin
• ketoconazole
