    • When a patient has a history of allergy to any of the mentioned components
    • When the patient has glucose•6•phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency
    • This medicine is not compatible with other medications or oral rehydration salts solutions, if used together may lead to the precipitation of the drugs

    May cause nausea.

    Precautions include:

    • This medication is a laxative and should not be used for more than 7 days.
