    Ophthalmic nepafenac is used to treat eye pain, redness, and swelling in patients who are recovering from cataract surgery.

  • Dosage

    Follow these dosage instructions:

    • Adult Dose

    Use one drop in the affected eye three times a day, beginning 1 day before cataract surgery, continuing on the day of surgery, and for 2 weeks after the surgery.

    • Child Dose

    Use and dose must be determined by your doctor.

  • In case of Overdose

    Seek emergency medical help if you think you have taken too much of this medicine.

  • Missed Dose

    If you miss a dose, make sure to take it as soon as possible the same day. If you don't remember missing the dose, don't double it. Consult your doctor on how to adjust the missing doses.

  • How To Use

    Look up, pull down your lower eyelid, and make a pouch. Drop one medicine in the eye. Look down, and close your eyes for 1-2 minutes. Don't blink or rub your eye. Keep using this medicine for at least 2 weeks unless your doctor tells you otherwise.

    Don’t use this medicine in these situations:

    • Hypersensitivity
    • ASA or NSAID-induced asthma
    • Pregnancy 3rd trimester
    • Contact lens use
