Ophthalmic nepafenac is used to treat eye pain, redness, and swelling in patients who are recovering from cataract surgery.
Follow these dosage instructions:
Use one drop in the affected eye three times a day beginning 1 day before cataract surgery, continuing on the day of surgery, and for 2 weeks after the surgery.
Use and dose must be determined by your doctor.
Seek emergency medical help if you think you have taken too much of this medicine.
If you miss a dose, make sure to take it as soon as possible the same day. If you don't remember missing the dose, don't double it. Consult your doctor on how to adjust the missing doses.
Look up, pull down your lower eyelid, and make a pouch. Drop one medicine in the eye. Look down, and close your eyes for 1-2 minutes. Don't blink or rub your eye. Keep using this medicine for at least 2 weeks unless your doctor tells you otherwise.
