The signs and symptoms that are produced after the acute overdosage of Oral Rehydration Salts (ORS) include Severe vomiting, Mucositis, Diarrhea, Severe myelosuppression, Hyperkalemia, Hypernatremia. Iso-osmotic overload is managed by restricting intake of sodium, potassium, and water. Additionally, treatment includes measures to increase renal excretion of sodium, potassium, and water, often achieved through the use of loop diuretics. These diuretics enhance renal elimination of these substances, helping to address the overload and restore balance.
