Chloramphenicol inhibits microbial protein synthesis by binding to the 50 S subunit of the 70 S ribosome and inhibiting the action of peptidyl transferase, thus preventing peptide bond formation. This mechanism also prevents the binding of aminoacyl transfer RNA to the peptidyl transferase active site. Prednisolone is a potent glucocoticoid that decreases lymphocyte colony proliferation and suppresses migration of neutrophils. It inhibits pro-inflammatory signals.

Do not put more drops in case of a missed dose. Consult a doctor in case of missed doses

Pull the lower eyelid away from skin to make space using clean hands and drop the medicine into the space. Let go of the eye gently and do not blink.

• a viral or fungal infection
• allergy to the constituents

• dry eyes
