Provas-N Forte (650/50mg) 20 Tablets

A combination of paracetamol with orphenadrine is used to relax muscles and treat any muscle pain. Orphenadrine binds and inhibits both histamine H1 and NMDA receptors and restores any motor disturbances. Paracetamol acts as an analgesic by reducing prostaglandin synthesis.

Muscle relaxant, analgesic

The drug is used to treat:

• acute and chronic painful muscle conditions
• tension
• headaches
• painful menstruation
• non-articular rheumatism
• muscle spasms

Dose to be taken as per doctor's prescription. Adjustment will be done for patients with mental cofusion.

Stomach bleeding and kidney problems may occur in case of overdose as well as mental disturbances, having difficulty breathing and passing out. Contact your healthcare provider in case of an overdose immediately.

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next scheduled dose then the missed dose can be skipped.

Swallow this pill with milk or food to avoid stomach upset.

Do not use in case of:

• hypersensitivity to active constituent or NSAIDs
• pyloric or duodenal obstruction
• glaucoma
• peptic ulcers
• cardio-spasm
• myasthenia gravis

Side effects include the following:

• nausea and GI upset
• dry mouth
• blurred vision
• dizziness and confusion
• tremors

Practice the following precautionary measures:

• Consult a doctor in case of pregnancy
• Consult a doctor in case you are nursing a baby
• May impair mental or physical ability to perform hazardous tasks such as driving.
• Periodic monitoring of blood, urine and liver function is needed in case of prolonged use.

Consult a doctor before taking orphenadrine if you are on:

• anti-psychotics
• anti-cholinergics
• anti-histamines
