This medicine is used to treat fungal infections. It contains Fluconazole, which is an antifungal. It works by inhibiting the growth of fungus and preventing its spread.

Fluconazole is utilized for the following therapeutic indications:

• Treatment of fungal infections
• Management of candidiasis
• Prophylaxis in immunocompromised patients
• Effective against cryptococcal meningitis

Take as per doctor's prescription. The dosage depends on what your doctor suggests to you, based on your age, weight, and immune system condition. Do not stop the medication abruptly:

• Adult Dosage

A tablet a day is commonly prescribed to the adult patients. However, strictly adhere to what your doctor tells you.

• Child Dosage

Patients under 18 should use the capsule strictly under the supervision of a doctor.

• Elderly Dosage

Elderly people susceptible to liver and kidney disease should take caution before using the capsule.

Seek emergency medical attention if you think you have used too much of this medicine. Look out for symptoms like:

If you miss a dose, make sure to take it as soon as possible the same day. If you don't remember missing the dose, don't double it. Consult your doctor on how to adjust the missing doses.
