The exact mechanism of action of ropinirole as a treatment for Parkinson's disease is unknown, however, it is believed to be related to its ability to selectively stimulate dopamine D2 receptors within the caudate-putamen system in the brain. This system affects body movement.

Seek immediate help in case of overdose as serious complications can occur

If you miss a dose, make sure to take it as soon as possible the same day. If you don't remember missing the dose, don't double it. Consult your doctor on how to adjust the missing doses.

Swallow with a glass of water with or without food. It is better to take right after meals

Do not use in case of:

• allergy to constituents

Common side effects include:

• fatigue
• feeling anxious
• nausea
• stomach pain
• heartburn

This medication can increase risk for skin cancer

This medication may interact with these drugs:

• cimetidine
• fluvoxamine
• omeprazole
