• middle ear infections (otitis media)
• traveler's diarrhea
• shigellosis
• bronchitis
• urinary tract infections

To be taken as per doctor's prescription. It is usually given up to 10-14 days

It's crucial to be informed of the potential risks associated with an overdose. Overdose may be life-threatening in some cases. Time is of the essence, therefore, seek medical care immediately

Try not to miss a dose. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you can. Then continue your normal schedule. If it is almost time for your next dose, take only that dose. Do not take double or extra doses.

Do not use in case of:

• allergic reaction
• folate deficiency
• liver dysfunction
• renal insufficiency

Side effects include:

• bleeding gums
• vision changes
• burning of face or mouth
• bloating
• leg and back pain

Cautions include:

• Take plenty of water and fluids to help prevent the formation of kidney stones
• This can cause electrolyte problems. Tell your doctor right away if you have onfusion, weakness, irregular heartbeat, muscle twitching or numbness in the hands, feet or lips

Do not use in case you are already using:

• blood thinners
• certain diabetes medications
• phenytoin
• methotrexate
• certain blood pressure medications
