Fluticasone, Salmeterol combination is utilized for the following therapeutic indications:

• Management of asthma symptoms

An overdose of Salmeterol and Fluticasone propionate can be potentially fatal if not treated immediately. The specific effects of an overdose would depend on the individual and the amount of medication ingested. An overdose of these medications should be treated immediately by inducing vomiting if the overdose happened recently. If the patient has collapsed or is not breathing, CPR should be performed and emergency services should be called immediately.

It is important to note that it is usually safe to double up on the next dose if you have missed a dose by less than 6 hours. However, if you missed a dose by more than 6 hours, it is advised to skip the missed dose entirely rather than taking a double dose.

Do not use in case of:

• When someone experiences mild symptoms that could be due to asthma or seasonal allergies.
• During pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
• If you have diabetes or high blood pressure.
• If you have a bacterial or viral infection.
• If you are taking any other medications, including supplements or herbal products.
• If you have any allergies to any medications or substances.

Side effects include:

• This medication may cause tremors, faster heart rate, and feeling nervous or restless.
• This medication is known to cause hypokalemia (low potassium levels in blood) which may cause muscle pain, cramps, weakness, and tiredness.

Precautions include:

• Do not use this medication if you are allergic to salmeterol or fluticasone propionate.
• This medication should be used with caution in patients with diabetes, glaucoma, cataracts, and epilepsy.
• Salmeterol may increase the risk of asthma•related death. It is critical to seek medical attention if your breathing problems worsen or persist after using this medication.
• This medicine may cause blurred vision or dizziness. If you experience these effects, do not drive or operate heavy machinery.

Drug interactions include:

• Beta•blockers
• Diuretics
• Ritonavir
• Lithium
• Cyclosporin
