Try not to miss a dose. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you can. Then continue your normal schedule. If it is almost time for your next dose, take only that dose. Do not take double or extra doses.

Swallow with a glass of water with or without food.

Contraindicated in:

• patients who are hypersensitive
• breastfeeding or pregnant
• active liver disease
• persistent elevations of serum transaminases
• lung diseased patients

Side effects include:

• nausea
• stomach upset
• loss of appetite
• constipation
• muscle pain

Cautions include:

• Call your doctor if you have unexplained muscle pain or tenderness
• Stop using if you have a major surgery
