    This medicine is used to treat muscle cramps and spasms. It contains Tizanidine, a muscle relaxant, which works by stimulating pre-synaptic alpha-2 receptors in the spinal cord. It inhibits the release of excitatory amino acids, thereby reducing muscle tone and providing relief.

    This medicine is used to treat painful muscle cramps and pain caused by:

  • Dosage

    Follow these dosage instructions:

  • When Not to Use

    You should not use this medication, if:

    • You have a known hypersensitivity to tizanidine or any component of the formulation
    • You have significantly impaired liver function
    • You are using tizanidine with fluvoxamine or ciprofloxacin
    • You have any of the rare hereditary conditions such as galactose intolerance, of severe lactase deficiency or of glucose galactose malabsorption.
