  • Description

Dexamethasone, a potent synthetic corticosteroid, exerts its anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting the production of pro-inflammatory mediators. It suppresses the activation of immune cells, reduces the release of cytokines, and inhibits the migration of inflammatory cells to the site of inflammation in the eye. Tobramycin, an aminoglycoside antibiotic, works by binding to specific proteins on bacterial cell membranes, leading to disruption of protein synthesis and subsequent bacterial cell death. This combination targets both the inflammatory response and bacterial infections in the eye, making it effective for treating ocular conditions requiring anti-inflammatory and antibiotic therapy.
