    This medicine is used to treat anemia in people with long-term kidney disease.

  • Dosage

    The recommended starting dose for adult patients is 50 to 100 Units/kg 3 times weekly intravenously or subcutaneously.

    Seek medical help immediately if you think you have overdosed on this medicaton.

  • Missed Dose

    If you miss a dose, make sure to take it as soon as possible the same day. If you don't remember missing the dose, don't double it. Consult your doctor on how to adjust the missing doses.

  • How To Use

    This medication can be injected directly into a layer of fat under your skin, or in the vein. When giving subcutaneous injections, follow your healthcare provider's instructions about changing the site for each injection.
