Vicks VapoRub contains a combination of active ingredients, each with distinct therapeutic properties. Vicks VapoRub dosage recommendations are:

• For congestion and cold symptoms - apply a thin layer to chest and throat, rub gently. Use up to three times daily.

If you miss an application, apply the balm as soon as you remember. Do not apply extra to make up for the missed application.

For adults and children over 2 years, Vicks VapoRub should be applied to the chest and back, repeating up to 2-4 times a day as needed.
