Xenglu-Met (12.5/850mg) 14 Tablets

This medicine is used to treat diabetes mellitus type 2. It contains Metformin and Empagliflozin. This combination is a Sodium-glucose co-transporter that works by increasing the body’s sensitivity to insulin, decreasing glucose production, and delaying intestinal glucose absorption.

This medicine is anti-diabetic and is used for the treatment of Type 2 Diabetes. It also helps reduce the danger of cardiovascular death in adults with Type 2 diabetes. Empagliflozin should not be used in patients with Type 1 Diabetes or those suffering from diabetic ketoacidosis.

Overdose can cause low blood sugar. Seek immediate medical attention in case of overdose

If you miss a dose, make sure to take it as soon as possible the same day. If you don't remember missing the dose, don't double it. Consult your doctor on how to adjust the missing doses.

Do not use in case of:

• end-stage renal disease
• dialysis
• severe hypersensitivity to the constituents
• for TYPE 1 diabetes
• diabetic ketoacidosis

• rapid breathing
• heart palpitation
• anxiety
