This medicine is used for Symptomatic treatment of mild to moderately severe Alzheimer's dementia or in Parkinson's disease. -
Side Effects
Asthaenia, anorexia, dizziness, somnolence, abdominal pain, GI upset, sweating, malaise, weight loss, tremor, headache, insomnia, respiratory or urinary tract infections, headache, anxiety, agitation, depression, fatigue, wt loss. Caps/soln: Somnolence, sleep disorders, confusion, hallucination, hyperhidrosis, dehydration, tremor, hypertension, bradycardia, salivary hypersecretion, worsening of parkinson's disease. Patches: UTI, urinary incontinence, delirium, syncope, pyrexia. Skin reactions (discontinue if severe or persistent). -
Precautions & Warnings
Sick sinus syndrome, conduction defects, history or risk of GI ulceration, asthma, obstructive pulmonary disease, bladder outflow obstruction, renal or mild to moderate hepatic impairment. Monitor weight loss.
