Hospitals Registered With Qaumi Sehat Card Now Crosses 700

According to Punjab Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid, the new number of hospitals that are included in the Naya Pakistan Qaumi Sehat Card Programme is 700.
She said this while attending a zoom meeting with SAPM Dr. Faisal Sultan at the Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department. Dr. Yasmin Rashid further added that a live dashboard will be set up so that the complaints and queries of the general public can be addressed.
Several health officials such as Mian Muneeb from Punjab Health Initiatives Management Company, Prof. Javed Chaudhry were also in attendance. Dr. Faisal Sultan who is the special assistant to the Prime Minister also expressed satisfaction with the overall public response towards the facilities available on Qaumi Sehat Card.
Under the PHCIP, mother of every child born in approved public sector facilities in 11 districts will be given Rs.1000 on pre and post natal visits.

Both the health minister and SAPM put forward a unified front on the development of a live data dashboard that will monitor all the complaints and queries. Furthermore, the families of the Sargodha and Gujranwala divisions can get benefitted from the facilities of the Naya Pakistan Qaumi Sehat Card by March 31.
Moreover, the Punjab Human Capital Investment Project is also being launched. According to this project, the mother of every child born in approved sectors of 11 districts will be given Rs 1,000 on pre and post maternal visits.
Dr. Yasmin Rashid said that “The two health departments are taking important steps for family planning in the province. Collection and analysis of data are very important for family planning. The government has constituted a special committee for recommendations based on existing data. Development of a country depends on its population.”
