Sehat Insaaf Card Now Covers Cancer Treatments - Yasmin Rashid

On Monday, March 14, Punjab Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid has reported that Sehat Insaaf Card now includes various Cancer Hospitals.

She made this announcement while she was presiding over a regional meeting to review the medical healthcare steps for cancer treatment.
The health minister strictly gave instructions to the officials that they need to speed up the work for the finalization of PC1 for oncology centers in the nine divisional centers of the region.
Yasmin Rashid also informed that a new and state-of-the-art nerve center is being planned. Furthermore, 12 cancer centers are also being upgraded to attend to the increased patient burden. The government is planning to provide special courses to the medical staff so that they are more aligned with better healthcare services in the region.
Special Secretary, Ajmal Bhatt informed the Health Minister about the steps that are being taken in such matters. While the others shared their insights as well as suggestion.
This meeting was also attended by SH&ME secreteary Ahmed Javed Qazi, Professor Mehmud Shaukat, Additional Secretary Dr. Hafiz Shahid Latif, Professor Javed Chaudhry, Dr. Irfan, Dr. Sharifur Rehman, Dr. Kasur Bano, and various other oncologists.
